BIOGRAPHYPalace Concubines never truly had it all.Born to Kazemura Village the west of bukyo, Hikaru Seta was a shy and reclusive child. She spent many of her former days attending to the rice farm her family owned--only to be caught by disaster when a dry spell and famine came to the village.Taken from her family and becoming Kamuro to a nameless ageya within Bukyo, Hikaru spent her maiden days tending to her elder geikos' needs between performances and prospective clients. She soon graduated, from her contract, and began her work in the entertainment districts when she came of age.Noticed by the royal courts of Hingashi, Hikaru was quickly torn from her ageya and instead placed within the Bukyo Palace--to serve for the next eight decades as a concubine to the reigning emperor--and subsequent heirs.Life was not as glamorous as many young women who coveted his position thought it to be. Marred by strife, betrayal and conflict at every turn, one could mistake the Hingan Palace for its own savage jungle.It is only recently, and through meeting a few chance individuals, that Hikaru managed to 'retire' from the palace, paving his own way to wealth and power through any means, however ill.

Having his own clan subtly operating in Hingashi, underworldly types may know of the rise of his clan subsidiary in the past 20 years.
